Refund & Returns Policy

Thank you for supporting the independent film "Taste?". Because we operate as an independent production, our resources are limited, and our refund policies vary depending on the type of product or contribution. By making a purchase or contribution on the Four Stories Food website you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Digital products (streaming, rentals, & downloads) due to the nature of digital content, all sales, rentals, and downloads of the film or digital bonus content are final. We cannot offer refunds or credits once a digital link has been generated, streamed, or downloaded. If you experience technical difficulties accessing your digital file, please contact us at hello@fourstories and we will work with you to resolve the issue or provide an alternative access link.

2. Physical merchandise (Blu-rays, apparel, posters, etc.) Returns and exchanges we accept returns or exchanges on physical items within [e.g., 14 or 30] days of the delivery date. To be eligible for a return: The item must be unused, unwashed, and in the same condition that you received it. Apparel must have tags attached (if applicable), and physical media (Blu-rays/DVDs) must be unopened and in their original plastic wrap. Damaged or defective itemsIf your merchandise arrives damaged or defective (e.g., a cracked Blu-ray case, misprinted shirt, or bent poster), please email us immediately at hello@fourstories.com with your order number and photos of the damage. We will ship a replacement to you at no additional cost. Return Shipping unless the item arrived damaged or defective, you will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

3. Screening tickets & event passes If you purchase tickets directly through our Site for a theatrical screening, festival premiere, or virtual event hosted by us: Refund requests: Refund requests must be submitted at least [e.g., 48 or 72] hours prior to the scheduled event time. No refunds will be issued after this window. Festival Screenings: If you purchased tickets through an external film festival's box office, you must adhere to that specific festival's refund and cancellation policies. We cannot issue refunds for third-party ticketing systems. Event Cancellation: If a screening is cancelled entirely by the production team, a full refund will be automatically issued to your original method of payment.

4. Crowdfunding campaigns & donations If you contributed to our film via a crowdfunding platform (such as Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Seed&Spark) or made a direct donation to support the film's production: No refunds on donations: Contributions made to fund the production of an independent film are considered investments in the creation of art and are non-refundable.Perks and Rewards: If your contribution included a physical perk (e.g., a signed script or t-shirt), the physical merchandise return policy above applies if the item arrives damaged. Estimated delivery dates for crowdfunding rewards are subject to production schedules and are not guaranteed delivery dates.

5. Refund processing time once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and whether your refund is approved. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within [e.g., 5 to 10] business days. Please note that banking institutions and credit card companies may require additional time to post the transaction to your account.
